LOCATION
Finca de la Fuensanta is located in the municipality of Jumilla, a town in the north of the Region of Murcia, in south-east Spain.
The area is surrounded by mountains that rise to over 1000 meters, crowned by the Parque Regional Sierra del Carche, with its 1371 meters. It is a special area of our geography, not only for its exceptional beauty and natural wealth, but also because of its microclimate, which is ideal for the cultivation of olives.
Besides its splendid natural heritage, Jumilla is a spot of great value, home to important archaeological sites, like the Iberian group comprising En Coimbra del Barranco Ancho, Complejo Íbero de la Buitrera, Villa Romana de los Cipreses, not to mention the cave paintings which have been declared a World Heritage Site, as have the fossil remains of prehistoric animals. Then there is the historical center of the town of Jumilla, fondly known by the locals as the Historical Artistic Complex.
It is in this idyllic, historical and natural enclave that our olive trees are to be found, so it is hardly surprising that the quality our organic oil should be just as special.
